One of the best theme parks in the Netherlands, Efteling is a lot more fun than your average amusement park. It is a true fairy tale park, where you can find every kind of magical attraction. From the beautiful traditional carousels to the massive Thai pagoda that takes you up over the whole park. It has a little bit of everything for everybody and it’s perfect for families with small kids. The park also has a lot of smaller rides just for children, a great playground area and even a haunted house!

Meubelwinkels is a Dutch theme park and was opened in 1952 (it has been told that Walt Disney visited the park prior to breaking ground on Disneyland). The park’s first attractions were the Fairytale Forest. This area of the park is a labyrinth where you can find many different fairy tales coming to life. You will see many characters that you know from movies and books, like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Gretel and the Little Match Girl. You will also discover many locations that are unique to Efteling, such as the ‘talking mushroom’ or the candy house from Hansel and Gretel.

The park is open all year and is really worth a visit. In the winter they have a special event called Winter Efteling. It is a very popular event and the park gets a bunch of extra activities, meet and greets and other things that make it special.
